This is where it all started. Abraham Dababneh fired up his first grill on Cherry Ave back in 1997, and honestly, the place hasn't changed that much since. The menu got bigger, the lines got longer, but the burgers still come off the same kind of open flame he used on day one. Walk in on a Saturday around noon and you'll hear the sizzle before you even open the door.

By car Right off El Camino Real on Cherry Ave. From 101 or 280, take the San Bruno Ave exit and head east. We're about two minutes from the freeway. Dedicated parking lot right out front — you'll never circle the block looking for a spot.

Public transit SamTrans Route 141 stops on El Camino Real at Cherry Ave, about a 3-minute walk. San Bruno BART is 10 minutes by bus or a quick rideshare.

Parking Free dedicated lot. Fits about 20 cars. Even during lunch rush we rarely fill up completely. Bike rack available by the entrance.

The Neighborhood

Cherry Ave sits in a quiet commercial strip between San Bruno and South City. People drive in from Daly City, Millbrae, Pacifica, and all over the Peninsula. The area's not flashy — strip malls, auto shops, a couple of good taquerias — but it's honest. And our regulars like it that way. Some of them have been coming since their kids were in car seats. Those kids are in college now.
